How often do you find yourself waiting? Studies show that
people spend years of their lives just waiting! But what do you
do while you are waiting? If you are like most people, you
probably sit while you wait. So next time you are at the
doctor’s office, the bank, the pharmacy or the airport, try
offering your seat to someone who can benefit from sitting
down. You will make someone happy and lose approximately 36

When was the last time you actually washed your own

calories is to go outside and do activities with your children.
Whether you walk to the community park down the road or your
own backyard, you are bound to find some activities you and
your children will both enjoy. We already know that watching
too much television or spending an access amount of time
playing video games is having a negative impact on children.
Playing with the children will get them off the couch, will
certainly burn some calories for both of you, and it will not
seem like a chore or like working out at the gym. Depending on
the activity you choose to do with your children, you can burn

in a half hour. Bike riding, catch, hide and seek, and tag are
all kid favorites and great opportunities to interact with your
